The first-day solemn assembly of pupils of the newly built Kyiv Engineering Gymnasium at Knyazhyi Zaton Street will be held in the area laid with a new for Ukraine kind of tiles that bears the name of Fusion by Avenu Decor trademark.

  Such decorative elements of landscape design have recently been put on the production line by “Beton Kompleks” plant, a member of the “Kovalska Industrial and Construction Group” Association.

  The tiles resemble closely the natural stone due to being treated with steel grinder. Moreover, they possess high quality features that allow tens of years of use regardless of weather conditions. The school building itself was constructed from high-quality concrete materials manufactured by “S. Kovalska Reinforced Concrete Constructions Plant”.

  “For three years, the enterprises of the “Kovalska Group” took active part in the building of the new school. It is the first school in Kyiv opened since the time when the crisis stroke in 2008. The total amount of concrete that we delivered to the site is 10460 cubic meters. Included here are poles, finish decoration mortars, surface fillers etc. All of this presupposed long and complicated work, the result of which, however, has lived up to the best of expectations”, Sergii PYLYPENKO, Director General of the “Kovalska Industrial and Construction Group” Association, noted.

  The Gymnasium, that is designed to fit 33 classrooms serving 990 pupils, will host a computerized library, a choreographic gym, two swimming pools, and an aromatherapy room. Physics and chemistry classrooms are to be furnished with most up-to-date devices and reagents.

  At the opening ceremony of the 1st of September, the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych is to be present. He will address the school students, teachers and construction participants with a speech.
